Magmapadano is a name that identifies a first Hybrid Geographically the unlikely oxymoron coined by Richard and Stefano Pettinato Todd for a common artistic project, which has emerged from sentimental association. In Turin, Catania and he's her "native", made of domestic space shared by both the cue and the theater of their work. The house, which reconstructs philologically Stefania some time, room by room, in different display areas, workshop authentic tranche de vie, is the container Magmapadano, its nest hospitable. It's called OHME and together with its corresponding "original" early in the network, is an experience, real and virtual. The site is currently under construction, (www.magmapadano.it), opens with an icon east of welcome, the key to the house of two artists, their videos, deliberately dirty and home, shot with the camera in those same areas: in short, their life together. The historic art-life is contaminated by the reflection on the recent decline of these two terms provided by television and the Web - with a succession of withdrawals actually assumed and truthful representation of its staging - a second generation of the typical legacy media to Richard and Stephanie where they belong. The ease and irony with which we make some of their tastes and dislikes, stirring false perversions and real passions, such as the collection of gadgets and boxes of junk-food exotic collection of postcards sixties and seventies or 45 laps eighties, are also the project created starvation. The invitation to this show for Stephanie and Richard is the opportunity to give themselves an invitation, extended to the whole public, that their impending marriage.
